What a Young Adventurers Class Feels Like
A Young Adventurers class moves between guided speaking, conversation, games, challenges, and interactive tasks. Students receive clear support when new Spanish is introduced, while also getting frequent opportunities to think, respond, make choices, and use the language more independently with Ms. Díaz and their classmates.
What Your Child Is Learning to Do
Explorer 1 helps students build practical communication skills from the beginning. Rather than memorizing isolated vocabulary, students gradually learn to understand, respond, ask and answer questions, share information, and participate in short supported conversations in Spanish.

How Explorer 1 Is Structured
Explorer 1 is a complete 24-class module designed to build Spanish step by step. Students begin with clear foundations, revisit useful language in new situations, and gradually connect what they learn to ask questions, share information, and participate in short supported conversations.
More Than the Live Class
Young Adventurers includes teacher-created materials and an organized online classroom so students can review useful Spanish, revisit what they learned, and stay connected to the program between live sessions.

Why a Maximum of 5 Students Matters
At ages 8–12, students build confidence by speaking, responding, and interacting—not by waiting for long stretches while others participate. Keeping Young Adventurers to a maximum of five students gives each learner more opportunities to ask questions, share ideas, practice with classmates, and actually use Spanish during class.

Meet Ms. Díaz
Young Adventurers is taught directly by Ms. Díaz, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico with professional training in language teaching, child development, and experience teaching Spanish to children.
Is Young Adventurers the Right Fit for My Child?
Young Adventurers is designed for students ages 8–12 who are beginning Spanish or building an early foundation. No previous Spanish experience is required. If your child has already studied Spanish or uses it regularly, the free trial helps us determine whether Explorer 1 is the right starting point.
