Why Little Explorers Is Designed Differently
Children ages 6–7 are ready to communicate, explore, and take on more language—but they still learn best when lessons are highly visual, active, guided, and full of opportunities to participate. Little Explorers is built around that stage.
What a Little Explorers Class Feels Like
A Little Explorers class moves quickly between listening, speaking, movement, games, and interaction. Children are supported throughout the lesson, but they are also given frequent chances to make choices, respond, and use Spanish for themselves.
What Your Child Is Learning to Do
Explorer 1 focuses on helping children begin using Spanish in familiar, meaningful situations. Rather than memorizing isolated vocabulary, students gradually learn to understand, respond, share information, and participate in short supported communication.

How Explorer 1 Is Structured
Explorer 1 gives children time to build familiarity, revisit useful Spanish in new situations, and gradually connect what they are learning across a complete 24-class module.
More Than the Live Class
Little Explorers includes teacher-created materials and an organized online classroom so children can revisit familiar Spanish, review what they have learned, and stay connected to the program between live sessions.

Why a Maximum of 5 Students Matters
At ages 6–7, children learn by participating—not by waiting for long stretches while other students speak. Keeping Little Explorers to a maximum of five students gives every child more opportunities to interact, respond, and use Spanish during class.
