What a Baby Steps Class Feels Like
A Baby Steps class moves through short, playful activities that combine listening, movement, repetition, visuals, guided speaking, and interaction. Young learners are supported throughout the lesson and given frequent opportunities to respond, choose, imitate, move, and use familiar Spanish.
What Your Child Is Learning to Do
Explorer 1 helps children ages 4–5 begin using Spanish in familiar, playful, and meaningful situations. Rather than memorizing isolated vocabulary, children gradually learn to recognize familiar Spanish, respond with support, make choices, share simple information, and participate in short guided communication.

New Baby Steps groups for children ages 4–5 are being prepared for November 2026. Classes will meet twice each week in small live groups of up to five students.
