Learning Outcomes

Students become more comfortable speaking in Spanish, improve their ability to interact in real conversations, and gain confidence over time. As they immerse themselves in the language, they not only start using vocabulary more freely but also develop a deeper understanding of cultural nuances that can enhance their communication. Engaging in discussions and practicing with peers can significantly boost their fluency and enjoyment of the language learning process.

Placement and Scheduling

The students are placed in small groups based on age and speaking level. Sessions are held weekly at set times. If a group is not available, students may begin with individual sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions from Parents

What if my child is shy or doesn't want to speak at first?

That's completely okay. Children are encouraged to participate without being put on the spot. We create a supportive environment where students can listen, observe, repeat, and begin speaking when they feel ready. Confidence is something we build throughout the course.

What does a typical class look like?

Classes combine speaking practice, interactive games, visual activities, repetition, and guided conversation. Lessons are structured around communication, so students practice Spanish in context instead of simply memorizing vocabulary lists.

Do I need to be in the room during class?

For ages 5-6, we especially recommend it being nearby helps with the tech and keeps them engaged. For ages 7-9, sometimes is necessary and sometimes they do great on their own; you can decide what works best for your child

Does my child need to know Spanish before joining?

Not at all! Explorer 1 is designed for beginners, so no previous Spanish experience is required. We start with simple, useful language and gradually build from there.

How do I enroll my child?

Families can choose an available class time and complete the registration process online. If you are using charter school funds, your school may also require you to submit an educational purchase request.

Is there a sibling discount?
Yes, sibling discounts may be available for families enrolling more than one child.

How do I know if the program is a good fit for my child?

You can start with a free trial class. It gives your child a chance to meet Ms. Diaz, experience the teaching style, and try some of the interactive activities before you decide whether to enroll.

Can I use charter school funds to pay for the program?

Yes, families enrolled with a charter school where Speak It With Ms. Diaz is an approved vendor may be able to use their educational funds for classes. Because each charter school has its own ordering process and funding policies, families should confirm eligibility directly with their school.
